Estetik Stomatologiya sahəsində tədqiqatçılar və klinisistlər stend təqdimatları şəklində mülahizələr təqdim etmək üçün orijinal tədqiqatların tezislərini nümayiş etdirməyi təklif edirik.

Tezislər 20 Aprel 2016-cü il tarixinə qədər qəbul ediləcək. İştirakçılar 5 May 2016-cü il tarixinədək onların tezislərinin qəbul edilib-edilməməsi haqqında məlumat alacaqlar.

Bütün tezislər EDAD Baku 2016 kitabçasında dərc ediləcək və müvafiq stendlər sərgi salonunda nümayiş etdiriləcək.

Dörd ən yaxşı tezisin müəllifi öz işlərinin nümayişi üçün çıxış etmək hüququ qazanacaqlar. İki ən yaxşı təqdimat mükafata layiq görüləcəkdir.

Researchers and clinicians within the field Esthetic Dentistry are invited to submit poster abstracts of original investigations for consideration in the poster presentation.

  • All information must be in English.
  • Entering of figures or tables in the abstract is not possible.
  • Use of standard abbreviations is desirable; place unusual abbreviations in 
parentheses after first use of the full term.
  • Please do not write in capitals.
  • Please note that the space for entering your submission details is limited to the 
number of characters indicated.

Abstract content

The content of your abstract should fit in one of the three categories (In-vitro/Pre-clinical/Clinical studies or Case reports) including the following primary investigating topics:

  • Periodontal regeneration
  • Soft tissue regeneration
  • Hard tissue regeneration
  • Complication management
  • Regeneration materials
  • Cell therapy
  • Growth factors
  • Biological mechanisms
  • Systemic diseases
  • Implant placement
  • Composite Restorations
  • Porcelain Veneers

Information on the submission form

Category: Select the category of research your poster will present
Title: Must be limited to a maximum of 300 characters and should indicate the content of the abstract in a concise manner.
Author: Last name, first name of first author.
Address: Street, zip/postal code, city, state, country.
E-mail: Important for notification.
Co-authors: List names in the order in which they appear on your poster, not 
mandatory, maximum 100 letters (academic title, last name, first name).

Abstract:  The abstract should be submitted in four paragraphs:

  1. Objectives (max. 300 characters including spaces).
  2. Methods (max. 1000 characters including spaces).
  3. Results (max. 1000 characters including spaces).
  4. Conclusions (max. 500 characters including spaces) 


Poster format and poster presentation

Dimensions of the poster:

  • The poster dimension should not exceed 90 cm width and 130 cm height.
  • The suggested size is A0 (ISO 216 sizes, specifies international standard 
(ISO) paper sizes – width and height: 84.1 cm × 118.9 cm).
  • You will receive your poster number for the congress in a separate e-mail. Poster authors will find their poster number on the empty poster board when 
mounting the poster. To attach your poster to the poster board please use the material provided at 
your poster board.
  • Illustrations and text must be readable from distances of at least 1.5 meters. 
Poster titles should include the full title, authors and their institutional affiliations. All lettering on the poster should be a minimum of 1 cm in height and the title at least 2 cm.
  • The poster presented at the congress has to cover the same topic as the abstract.
  • There is no limit to the number of abstracts an investigator may submit.
  • Any human experimentation must conform to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki of the World Medical Association.
  • Any animal experimentation must be reviewed and accepted by the responsible local authorities to assure compliance with ethical guidelines.
  • The Abstract submissions will be accepted until 20 April 2016. The applicants will be notified of acceptance or rejection of their abstract via e-mail by 
1 May 2016.
  • All submitters of accepted abstracts are expected to register for and attend the Congress.
  • All accepted poster abstracts will be published in the EDAD Baku 2016 abstract book and the posters will be presented at the exhibition hall.
  • If an emergency arises and the presenter is unable to attend, he/she must notify Dr. Rovshan Mammadov ([email protected]) by e-mail prior to the Congress that he/she is withdrawing the abstract or naming a substitute presenter.

Evaluation and oral presentation

  • All abstracts will be reviewed by three reviewers with knowledge in the special field (Dr. Orcan Yuksel, M.Sc.Dr. Emil İmanov, M.Sc.Dr. Xaqani Huseynov).
  • Evaluation criteria are: originality of the hypothesis, study design, methodology, scientific and clinical relevance.
  • The authors of the four best poster abstracts will be invited for an oral presentation. The two best presentations will be awarded Prize.
  • The invited poster abstract authors are expected to prepare an oral presentation of max. 10 minutes followed by 2 minutes Q & A by the poster committee.
